Interview Style Podcast about Hot Sauces

HotSauceWeekly is the world’s first podcast dedicated to hot sauce, fiery foods, and barbecue – and all things hot and spicy. An interview style show where in each episode, your hosts Brian and Marilyn Meagher from HotSauceDaily.com will talk with hot sauce inventors and manufacturers, barbecue sauce creators, Chileheads and bloggers and hot sauce lovin’ people like you.
We’ll talk about salsas, condiments, chile the pepper and chili the food.
News segments will feature what’s new in the world of hot, spicy, fiery foods.

Published bi-weekly, HotSauceWeekly runs about 30-40 minutes.

Brian Meagher

Brian has been a Chilehead since 1992 or so. Back then Tabasco, Louisiana Brand, and Texas Pete were about all you’d find on the shelves. Then came Frank’s Red Hot – the original Buffalo Wing Hot Sauce. But slowly, Brian was discovering new recipes; some that called for dried chile peppers, canned chile peppers, zesty spices and other exotic ingredients.

Fast forward to 1999, when he stumbled onto Chipotle Peppers. Chipotle in Adobo soon followed, and the fire was lit! Chipotle is still his favorite chile flavor profile.

There are over 300+ bottles of hot sauce, bbq sauce and spicy condiments on the shelves at the HotSauceDaily household.

Marilyn Baker Meagher

Marilyn grew up in a small town in Central Maryland with a love and knowledge of “Home Style” meals and cooking. Pot roasts, Chicken Pot Pies, soups and stews… these were her comfort foods that she came to excel at cooking for her family. Then she married Brian, moved in with her awesome heirloom farmhouse pots and pans and roasters, and found a space between the hundreds of bottles of hot sauces, bbq sauces and rubs and seasonings. She quickly became familiar with the many flavor profiles of the sauces and condiments, and is now known as HotSauceChick on Twitter and elsewhere on the Internet.

A big fan of bold, spicy flavors now, she still holds the Queen of Comfort Food title in the HotSauceDaily household. Her delicious homemade recipes can be found throughout the HotSauceDaily.com site but she has succumbed to the fiery-foods way of life and now enthusiastically embraces the Chilehead lifestyle.
